History:
Liam was born and raised in a small town in Alaska. When he was thirteen, his father was shot and killed in the Gulf War. He graduated from high school at the top of his class, scoring perfectly on both the ACT and SAT. He recieved a full tuition scholarship from MIT but struggled his Freshman year to come up with enough money for room and board and everything else, so Liam joined the Army ROTC (hoping that his success would be great enough that he could become a medic and prevent the deaths of people like his father), which allowed for him to graduate from MIT not only at the top of his class once more but as 2nd Lieutenant in the Army. His success in undergrad allowed for his service to be deferred while he attended Med school at John Hopkins University. Upon graduatation, Liam served as a medic. Initially, he had the opportunity to complete his internship at a military hospital in Germany (the Army having chosen his specialty for him). After some time, he was transferred to less sophisticated military hospital in the Middle East. Liam was severely injured when that hospital was bombed but upon recovery he refused the offer of a discharge and completed his service at the more tranquil enviorment of a hospital in Italy. When he had served the required amount of time, Liam chose not to reenlist, taking a job in the small town of Noakwood in hopes of settling down there.
Personality:
Liam believes strongly in the importance of commitment and has learned in his life not to shy away from responsibilities. At the same time, his past and intelligence make it difficult for him to relate to society and it takes quite some time for him to open up, especially when it comes to relationships, having a tendency to be somewhat detatched. Despite this, once one has gotten to know him, they will find that he is incredibly caring and a good listener.
