All of the fights are based on the following:
Were all the rules followed?
Which user used the best spelling, grammar, etc.
Whether or not a user godmoddded (your stallion will automatically lose of this occurs)
If the thread is left alone for a long while, the last user to post is the winner (unless a rule was broken by them)
