In order to claim land, you must have a stallion announce it on the board you want. Of course, a mare can't claim it, and if the land is already claimed you won't get it. Right now, there isn't any unclaimed land (and it costs 50,000 karma to buy some), but you can have your stallion fight for some. In order to do that, you must challenge a stallion, and take the fight to The Battle Grounds.
